Reporter Benefits

As a reporter, your professional reputation is on the line every time you deliver a completed transcript. Oftentimes this means you are reporting all day and typing/scoping all night in order to complete the job -- just in time to go out the following day and do it all over again.  Or maybe you've tried using typists, only to spend more time editing their work than it would have taken to do it yourself.  Either way, you're spending a great deal of time on each individual transcript prior to its completion.

WHAT IF THERE WAS AN EASIER WAY?
THERE IS!

Using a professional transcriptionist to assist you in the transcript production process can help you streamline your business, allowing you to maximize your income while minimizing your time investment in each job…all without compromising your professional reputation or the quality of your transcripts.

GET YOUR LIFE BACK!

The difference between a mediocre transcriptionist and a professional transcriptionist is simple: A professional transcriptionist will treat each one of your transcripts as if it were their own. By relinquishing the typing duties involved with each transcript to a professional transcriptionist, you will free up countless hours each week previously spent typing to pursue the activities that you want to participate in.

BENEFITS OF USING A TRANSCRIPTIONIST

Every partnership begins with, "What's in it for me?"  Partnering with a transcription provider is no different.  You want to be assured that they can hit the ground running and immediately contribute to your success.  When partnering with me for your transcription needs, you have the benefit of:

Experience:
Over five years’ experience transcribing exclusively for the court reporting community.  Experienced in workers’ compensation, insurance, condemnation, medical malpractice, construction, pharmaceutical, wrongful death, expert witness, and death penalty testimony, taken in depositions, hearings, trials, board meetings, sworn statements, and examinations under oath.

Quality:
I take pride in the work I do and realize that behind every transcript someone’s livelihood is at stake, in one form or another. With that comes great responsibility in ensuring that the written record conforms to the spoken one. Each transcript is produced using both room and mask tracks, as well as backup digital recordings if available, to make certain that the final transcript is an accurate reflection of the proceedings as they occurred. Research is conducted on obscure names/places/terminology. Each transcript is proofread prior to delivery, minimizing editing time on your end.

Deadlines Guaranteed:
In this business, deadlines aren’t negotiable. I request deadline information be sent with each job to ensure that your deadlines are never compromised. If it’s not on time, you don’t pay…period.

Technology:
Complimentary file transfer services are provided to all clients to allow for a seamless remote partnership. All digital audio files are accommodated, including WAV, MP3, WMA, DSS and others. Complimentary audio editing is provided to enhance audio quality, when needed. Transcripts can be produced in Microsoft Word, WordPerfect, and ProCAT VR. RTF/CRE conversion is available, if supported. Toll-free phone and fax contact information is provided to all clients and e-mail is monitored regularly throughout the day.
